Bachelor's Degrees in English in Kosovo: Options and Fees

Fee figures: catalogue of 6 October 2026.

Studying in English in Kosovo is possible, but the choice is small. Our catalogue lists 3 programmes taught in English out of 241 full-time bachelor's and integrated programmes. The other programmes are taught in Albanian, with a few that also mention Turkish or Bosnian.

The programmes

That is all we could confirm. For many private colleges the registry of accredited programmes does not state the teaching language, so some of them may teach in English without our catalogue showing it. If a college you like is not on the list, ask it directly. There is no medicine in English in our Kosovo catalogue.

What it costs

At the public University of Prishtina, regular bachelor's students pay no tuition on first registration of a semester, under Administrative Instruction MASHTI No. 09/2021. Our catalogue shows €0 for the lowest English-taught fee. Confirm with the faculty whether the programme has separate terms for foreign students.

RIT Kosovo is the paid option. Its Finance Office lists annual totals of €6,840 for early applicants, €6,940 for regular applicants and €7,140 for late applicants, which include a student activities fee and a technology fee. Our catalogue's highest English-taught fee is therefore €7,140. Details are in how much it costs to study in Kosovo.

How to apply to RIT Kosovo

RIT lists these steps for undergraduate applicants: an online application, an admissions essay, entrance exams, two recommendation letters, school certificates and a copy of your ID or passport. English and mathematics are tested.

See IELTS and TOEFL for European universities.

The University of Prishtina programme

We found no English-language admission page for the programme that we could open, because the university's site was closed to automated access. Admission follows the University of Prishtina's call and entry exam. Ask the faculty whether the entry exam is in English and what English level it expects.

Before you come

Non-Kosovo secondary diplomas must be recognised first, and non-Kosovo citizens apply for a residence permit after admission. See document recognition for Kosovo and student visa for Kosovo.
